My son has wanted an axe throwing toy so I thought I'd give this one a try. I was skeptical at first, but it really works! The Velcro that they used on the axes is really impressive. The axe sticks easily to the target on the majority of throws. It can easily be hung from the top of a door or set up outside on a tree. The boys enjoy target practice with it and we don't have to worry about them being injured! Great idea.

The box contained 1 - target, 2 foam throwing axes and instructions. The target has a coil frame and quick fold like your sunshade for your car. It holds its shape well but you have to romance the axes off the Velcro. You will need a hard backdrop for it to work right. The foam axes are light enough for anyone to throw them, and the fun is that there is some skill involved. I am satisfied with this product.

I wasn't sure what expect when I received the small box, but the throwing axes are quite sturdy and the collapsible target opens easily and was easy to hang. The axes throw easy but works best in closer proximity, if you stand too far the velco on the axe doesn't grip the target well and falls off. Everyone enjoyed taking turns throwing and I think that the adults may have had more fun than the children. Overall, it's a fun family game for us, we really enjoyed it and look forward our next family game night.

Our kids have been going through an extended "How to Train Your Dragon" phase, and my daughter (in Astrid mode) announced she wanted to throw axes. Her mother quickly crushed that idea, at least as her father would ordinarily approach it. Enter this product as a compromise, and it's a huge win.We have this installed (via suction cup) to a large door in the kids' playroom. They've been at it for a couple of weeks, throwing the velcro axes from near and far. It's almost like basketball -- they are even trying "trick throws" now. And even as a grown adult, I have to admit I've taken a few throws, and it is FUN!Highly recommended for the kid in your life who enjoys combining a game of skill with whatever book or fantasy they may associate with it.

Review of ISANCHA Foam Axe Throwing Game indoor and outdoor target game:Oh, my gosh, our 7 and 10-year-old boys loved playing this game. We got this to use for an upcoming birthday party. I hung the target on an existing screw in the wall - super easy. The axes are lightweight and easy to handle. The boys were giggling in no time. The velcro works really well so the axes do stick to the target most of the time if they hit the target. I enjoyed playing it too. I would recommend this game for safe fun for all ages.

This is a great way to introduce the fundamentals of axe throwing to youngsters. The velcro on the axes is only on the blades, so the axe will typically bounce off the target if any other part lands, just like in real life. The axes are blade-heavy enough to spin, and just like real axes you have to adjust your distance from the target to take into account the number of revolutions the axe takes.Now, the velcro on the axes is somewhat scratchy, so it's important that the axes be used for the target only- don't think that because they are foam that they are safe for rough-and-tumble play.The target itself comes with both a suction cup and a plastic door-clip attached to its strap, allowing it to attach to all sorts of surfaces. The strap only connects to the top, so additional suport may be needed if used outdoors on a breezy day.Overall this is a fun set for breaking up the monotony of bean bags or golf bolas.Thanks!
