I think if you look at the diameter and of the stand pipes and head over to your local home improvement store, you can get a 6foot piece of foam pipe insulation for about $1 and make your own

I have two road bikes, a Scott with skinny tires (actual width is .86") and a Trek road bike (with 1.315" wide tires). After putting the foam spacers on, the tires on my Scott, even on the thickest side, still do not touch the spacers. The Trek snugs down into them just fine. The thinner tires not touching is not much of a problem, it keeps the bike more upright than without but the bike still leans a bit; they could have put a thicker area on that one side. But my thought is this: why not include these spacers in the package with the stands in the first place? I know that some bikes may not need them, but they could include them at a much lower cost than what we have to buy them for as an accessory. It just increases the overall cost. I emailed them to ask why. In fact, I bought the first stand some 10 months ago or so, and until now, I didn't even know the spacers existed. Wouldn't it be nice if manufactures would include all the parts needed in one package and we wouldn't have to go around searching for extras. Cost cutting. And extra profit for them when they sell these spacers, that's why, put the cost to the consumer.Still, overall, a very nice product.

Pricey for what you get but they do the job admirably. They keep the spokes off the side of the bike stand
