Took a while to test it out, and I'll be bringing it on a road gig trip this weekend.So, mine had an issue. But, I'm not going to subtract too much. Because, manufacturing errors happen, and since I can't return or exchange it, I'll work from the idea that mine was the exception.Basically, the little tube that ultimately passes the steam wasn't placed correctly. There's a small hole that it's meant to fit into, leading to the nozzle. Mine was bent and not in the hole, which lead to the fog kind of 'fluffing' out, vs being projected. Luckily, I'm pretty handy and have it mostly fixed.That said, I think it's a good machine. Other than that, it actually looks well-constricted. Since I had it open, I could see the connections and such, and offhand everything looked good. I wouldn't throw it around a trailer on the road without good protection , but for normal usage I would expect it to work for a good while.The actual lighting and fog were really impressive and nice. Do note, however, that you can't activate the fog without either the remote or footswitch. Obviously, that's prob what you want to use regardless, but I would have preferred that there was a mechanical button in case the switch or remote were lost or forgotten. That said, the footswitch might be generic and easily replaceable. Hopefully, I don't have to find out any time soon, lol.But, overall I like the machine, and think that it's a pretty good buy for what you get.**Edit** It did well this weekend. The only thing I noticed is that occasionally after a quick press, the machine would take longer than I thought to heat back up and be ready again. When only doing a quick 1-second press, I would think that it would still be hot enough to go again almost immediately. Sometimes there would be like a 30-second wait. It could just be a by-product of how they work, and I also imagine that this is pretty normal for a 'budget' range fog machine. It's just something to note. Nothing about it changed my mind that this is still a good unit to get.

Very well-built fog machine with lights and lasers. It's very cool, especially the fog part with the lights? Looks awesome! I think the remote control is a very nice touch. It doesn't smell bad or at all really, not sure why it would. Maybe when heating the juice or something. It works very well and is super easy to use. Decently priced, too. I'd recommend this fog/light unit to anyone who wants to throw a party!
