so my test of this was making butter with some heavy cream from costco. filled up the glass bowl (there is a glass and a metal bowl included) and went to work. started by doing 10-20 second whips because the instructions say the motor has like a 5 or 10% duty cycle (which is why i gave it 4 stars)in the appropriate amount of time, i had whipped up a batch of fresh home made butter. towards the end i was running 30 second cycles, waiting maybe a minute before blasting it again. so i'm pretty sure i exceeded the rated duty cycle, and the motor did not overheat, it was rather warm but not hot.obviously the design provides that a food processor generally is made to chop things in short time period intervalsso great success and butter is your friend

Lots of blades, but that's good! It comes with 2 different bowls - a stainless steel one and a glass one. Very nice quality. I like that and the fact that it has several sets of blades, so that you can just switch them out and chop something else, if needed, right away! It has a powerful motor and chops things very very well. It also has a rubber ring that you can place on the countertop when using your glass bowl, so that it won't break the glass or vibrate off.

I really wish I would have tested this prior to preparing and placing food within it. I couldn’t get the motor to start and therefore it never really worked for me. Unfortunately I still had to clean up everything. The pieces don’t really fit together all that well, so perhaps they just weren’t making sufficient contact to engage the motor. The bowls are really solid and the food processor feels durable and of quality, but unfortunately the form and function doesn’t match the appearance. There are better alternatives out there, especially immersion blenders.

I wanted a larger food chopper but nothing too big or fancy and this one looked promising. It does deliver on the actual chopping/blending, but has some flaws. The pros are the 2 different bowl types, the VERY sharp blades (you get 2 sets that seem the same, there’s no instructions on the differences if any), the top is easy to use and you can pulse it or hold steady on, the blades do their job and quickly chop or mix your food. I made a fresh herb dip and the blending was fast, the herbs were chopped up tiny within it.The cons: the top/motor does NOT a fit down well onto the blade top, I have to jiggle it around to make it fit down, can be frustrating, especially if you need to check every few seconds to see your progress. Next the glass bowl has a pattern inside of raised glass ridges, this does NOT help with the scraping of the sides, bad design. Next there really aren’t any variations in the abilities of this- it’s on or off and there’s no hands free capability, no blades for grating or other needs. In short, it’s pretty basic for the price, I find the whole design a bit clunky and with the motor being so hard to engage I wouldn’t really recommend it. It does work decently but I want something easy to use, life is too short!

I spend hours every week tearing up greens for my 3 bearded dragons. I don't know why I didn't think to get something like this sooner - what a time saver! And my fingernails aren't green! It does chop the leaves pretty small so I just don't hold the button down for as many seconds so I get some bigger bits. I haven't tried it with anything else yet. There are no settings on this, so there may be some trail-and-error to get things chopped the size that you want. The booklet that comes with it does have some general times for chopping different things so it's a great place to start. It is very easy to assemble, use, and disassemble and the second set of blades is great if you are going to chop veggies and then meat or fruit right after. It comes with 2 bowls too - a stainless bowl for meat and a glass one for everything else and both of them are nice and sturdy. There is even a ring to put on the base of the glass one so it makes it non-slip. I am thrilled with this kitchen gadget and I wish I'd bought one a long time ago!

I had a some issues with this. It looks really nice, has a stainless steel and a glass bowl, which is nice. Extra blades and I like the size of the machine. However, the way the lid and the motor fit together makes attaching the motor to the blade stem very difficult. See photos. It took me many tries to get the parts to fit together because I couldn’t see what I was doing. I just had to hope I lined it up just so.Once I finally attached the motor correctly, it did chop the crackers, and the celery. There is approximately a 1/4” gap between the bottom of the bowl and the blade and some celery got caught in there and did not chop. See photo.

I was a little skeptical as I was unpacking this processor. The motor portion seemed small (compared to my name brand heavy duty base). The blades are very thin and light so I didn't have high expectations. Boy was I wrong! Assembly is easy and the instructions are simple and easy to understand. I tested it on a cooked and refrigerated chicken breast. Since it was so hard, I did cut it into quarters to fit into the bowl. I think I only pressed the button for 5 seconds and the meat was uniformly chopped fine enough to make chicken salad. I was so impressed! My large name-brand food processor does NOT do this good a job. It often makes some of it into a fine paste while leaving big chunks that float around and no matter how long you process it, won't chop. Not so with this machine! Now to test vegetables......I peeled a carrot and cut into 2 inch chunks. Again, just a few seconds of holding the button and the carrot was finely chopped into uniform pieces throughout. Not quite a shredded or super fine consistancy but it was small enough to be incorporated into any recipe and disappear. I LOVE this kitchen appliance and will be getting them for every bride in my circle of friends. It's definitely replacing my bulky machine at least for simple chopping.
