Easy to travel with, brought it on a trip to Florida and folded up great in my suitcase. Nice to have something with a back on it to sit by the pool and also protect your suit!

My husband is using the roll up backrest for his frequent jaunts to the beach. It couldn't have been any more lightweight or compact to travel with as he bikes there.Set up was easy. It was windy so he put some sand on the bottom to hold it down. The rest back legs are the type that have stretch cord in them for disassembly so the parts can't get lost. The width of the backrest isn't too wide but it was pretty comfortable for what it is. He's a 180 lb man and it was just fine for him. The color is actually a beige rather than a light yellow but that's ok by us.It looks like it would last while and it's a perfect fit for the way he uses a beach chair. It's a recommend.

Really pleased with this. I got this for my mom, who loves to sit on the edge of the pool with her feet in the water but not actually get in.The people in the stock photos of this item are very obviously not actually sitting on this chair, but I did, and I like it. My only concerns were that it would lay you back too far (it doesn't) and that it would be too finicky for her to put together, making her not actually get it out and use it in practice. I will have to show her how it works the first time, but it isn't too finicky--the little legs pop into their respective holders like a spring, and then you fit the caps in the back of the chair over the little legs: done. It does take slight effort to stretch the caps onto the legs, but that is a good thing, because it makes the chair back actually supportive of someone's weight.I actually like this for myself, too, for when I visit--I also like to sit on the edge of the pool sometimes, but because the pool edges are concrete, I tend to get little teeny tiny pulls in the butts of my bathing suits from doing so. Sitting on the seat part of this, that doesn't happen. It is a non-padded easy-dry fabric too and the seat is not stiff, so you could drape it over the pool edge if you wanted to sit in even closer.Since the chair supports fold up, and the chair portion can be rolled like a blanket, it all fits into a small and short drawstring bag (included with chair) that is about the size of a large carry-all. Great find.

I was skeptical at first, but it actually works. It comes with the poles detached, and it's in pieces in the canvas bag. At first it was a bit difficult to put all the pieces in place securely, but once I did, the seat was really stable. I was able to sit on the edge of my steps and on the pool edge whiles also having a comfortable back rest. I like that it's portable though, so I can store it away out of season. I can also take it with me to travel. It's a neat little seat.

This is a nice portable little chair for pool decks, and it keeps my family's bottoms comfortable on the scratchy concrete pool deck in our backyard. The backrest is a nice touch, it offers some support when leaning back, though it's not the most comfortable as the two legs on the sides dig in to your sides a bit. It did not seem to absorb much heat in the sunlight.It folds great, though not completely flat unless you disassemble the legs. There isn't much to break so I think this will last a long time.

Product description was way off. pic says it’s 39.5 inches wide. In reality it is 15” - which is fine but not what the picture showed. And it’s extremely cheaply made. Def not worth the $25.
