I was surprised that this window perch for my cat would actually hold my 10 pound cat with no problem. I was thinking that the suction cups were small, but they are in fact quite a bit larger than you may think, hence can hold quite a bit more weight. The assembly of the cat perch is very easy and straightforward, although the typed instructions is full of grammatical mistakes or just plain wrong translation, the illustrations are more than enough. Plus, it’s simple enough to figure out even without instructions really.I’m happy to report that my cat actually appreciates this perch and she doesn’t appreciate anything usually. All jokes aside, though, the cat perch is actually sturdy and I can actually recommend it.

Suction cups work great and so far have been solid enough to hold up our 20lb maine coon. I made this the lowest one on the window so he's not regularly jumping down too hard onto it and it seems to be rock solid thus far. I can't find any sort of weight limit in the instructions but it mentions several times "for bigger cats" so hopefully he qualifies. The little kitten we have does just fine with it as well. Do recommend, setup is a breeze and taking it down is quick too!

Missing parts.Update 4/10/25: Got a second one sent to me, only needed two caps out of it. Now it all sets up, but it won't stay attached to the glass. I've tried dry, water, windex, it just pops off. And my cat weighs 5 lbs, she LOVES it, but isnt heavy enough to hit the weight limit.

Packaging was nice, good presentation upon opening the box. Screwdriver, lens wipe, and small level were included. The bars to support the canvas bed are single piece, about 1” diameter. The front and back wood pieces look to be single solid pieces. The mechanisms to fold the bed against the window are independent. Therefor the two dowl rods can move independently of each other, as much as the stretched canvas bed will allow. The canvas bed is finished with simple overlock stitching along both long edges. The suction cups are interesting. You need to take them apart to insert the spindle of the suction cup through the holes in the long boards. That is, you’re sandwiching the suction cup around the support boards. The suction cups create suction by pushing them to the window and screwing them down. I didn’t test how well any of them work because this perch won’t fit in my window. Product dimensions in the listing title are only for the actual bed portion, not the widest part, the part that affixes to the window. Note that you will need window glass pane at least 26 wide to use this cat window perch. The included level is pretty much useless, being only about 1 ½ inches long. The instructions are too small for me to read even with my glasses. I relied on the diagrams which show the washers going onto the larger screws which then go into the dowl rods, but the washers don’t fit on those screws. Minor issues in all, and this window perch looks to be a high quality.

Sturdy. Instructions aren’t easy to follow but the obvious pictures helped. Easy to hang. Too large for my sliding windows but fits one of two picture windows well.

I was so excited to order this product because I hate the aesthetic of big bulky cat trees BUT my cat does enjoy looking out of the window and sunbathe. I have tried a few products in the past that claimed to do the same thing as this perch but the suction cups would just give out (with or without the cat on it). The suction cups on this product are definitely more secure and I am hopeful it'll stay that way.I am not good at putting things together so it probably took me 15/20 min to assemble and try to get up on my window. Hopefully I did it right. LolI introduced my cat to the perch and he INSTANTLY jumped on it and got comfortable. It's 1130 pm as I write this so I'm really excited for him to check it out in the am as well.I don't have the bet window for the perch but we made it work! In terms of decor... it definitely doesn't add anything to my aesthetic but it doesn't necessarily harm it either.
