We love this brand of puppets. This one is beautifully designed and will create hours of imaginative play for my toddler! Adults love it too...She just would never let her mom keep it to play with.Highly recommend for any child with an active imagination! Or adult -

We had a dragon puppet a few years ago from the same company and were trying to replace that for our grand baby. It is apparently not available any more. This new one is a lot smaller than the one we had 20 yrs ago and that is my only complaint.I like that you can do arm movements with this new one. To work it, you put two fingers in the arms and two fingers to work the mouth and it's an awkward position. On the old one, you worked the mouth with your whole hand and could make smirks, frowns, etc.

My daughter recently started loving dragons and puppets, so this was perfect for her this Christmas! She is 3 years old and sleeps with this in bed with her every night! It has held up very well to the rigors of travelling with a three year old, and looks exactly like in the picture! Great product!

I bought this baby dragon puppet for a friend's son on his first birthday. I'd seen a few Folkmanis finger and hand puppets before, but I never imagined I'd become so enamored with this one. This is an extremely high quality puppet. It's a nice, thick plush, and as another reviewer mentioned, different types of fabric have been used to construct the scales. I was also particularly impressed by appropriate bat-style dragon wings. A lot of craftsmanship went into this puppet, and it shows in every inch. It's just unspeakably adorable in person.The fit may be a bit tight for an adult hand (I've got large hands for a woman), but it is workable. I would imagine it works great for a child to grow into. It was a big hit with my friend's little boy, who started sleeping with it the first night, but if he hadn't wanted it I would have been happy to take it back and keep it for myself!

He is So-o-o-o Cute!! I love the fact the material they used for the scales varies in color and texture, it gives it an almost individual quality. Even though I think he should have a bit more stuffing in a few areas, like his belly, but once your hand is in it, you cannot tell. I will remedy this eventually.The liner where your hand goes seems to be sturdy and comfortable to use. The only thing that I am bummed about is that, unless you are a child (with small hands), you cannot out your whole hand in the head, you are forced to use your thumb and pinky for the arms. for me, that is not a big deal, but for others it may be. Sometimes, it would be nice to use just the puppets head. The fit for my hand is a little snug, but I have bigger hands than most women. Once my hand is in it though it feels fine. A guy with large hands would have a hard time getting their hand in it, if at all, without tearing it.I hope to eventually get more the the Folkmanis dragons when I can. Anyone who likes dragons will love this little puppet. Later I will add an image on my hand to give you and idea of size, because he does seem to a little bigger in the picture posted here. But the size ads to the cuteness factor, and it truly looks like a Baby Dragon.This dragon came with a Greek Folk tale about a baby dragon. It helps to give it more personality.Enjoy!
