I bought this pedal to modify: I needed a longer foot pedal cord and didn’t want to hack up the one that came with the machine. The pedal works identically to and feels the same as the original pedal. I’m new to serging so I appreciate that power is applied evenly over the range of pedal movement. It makes serging easier for me (and my lead foot).As for my modification, I spliced a length of lamp repair cord into the foot pedal cord so I could run the cord around the backside of my table. I don’t have a tiny little sewing desk, I have a large IKEA work table and while I can use an extension cord with the outlet cord I didn’t like having the foot pedal routed in front of the machine.

Presser foot works well. Original foot fell out of car and was lost. First order wrong size, easy return. New one works perfectly.

Heart broken when I could not find the plug to fit my Brother sewing machine. I had moved and packed it somewhere and could not for life of me find. So I searched on the internet and lo and behold Amazon had the correct one for me. Very Happy!

Needed a replacement foot/plug for a Singer sewing machine my daughter gave me which was hers but never used. She accidentally threw the plug away with the box. Contacted Singer and had a hard time finding one to order. Could order one from JoAnn Fabrics but would of had to go into the store and order, as well as 4-6 week delivery time. So, I ordered this one and it fits perfectly! Good enough price (cheaper than JoAnn's). Did not rate the "durability" as I won't know until I've owned it for awhile!

I’ve got a Singer Tradition 2259. Ordered this because the foot pedal my machine originally came with croaked. It feels exactly like the original pedal I got with the machine. Both pedals are “ELECTRONIC”. I just received it so I don’t have a in depth review, but it works for me!

Did not receive correct foot pedal and power cord. Ordered the power cord for my Model 1507 Singer Sewing Machine and verified the picture of the plug in was correct. The power cord that was received was way to big to fit into my machine and did not match up with the picture at all. Now have to go through the return process and finding the part that fits my machine.
