There is metal piece you must connect to the back before installation and it refuses to fit where it belongs. I have cut myself repeatedly trying to insert it in its correct place. I have a 2007 chevy cobalt and it seems incompatible despite its initial appearance. The instructions provided were for the wrong car/mirror as well.

A white tail deer bumped into the side of my car on the highway and broke the mirror and ran off, didn't even bother to apologize. Thankfully it was only the glass part that was broken this was so easy to install it just clicked into place. 10/10, it's perfect.

I have a 2008 Pontiac G5. My mirror got broken while driving home from work from a traffic cone! Ordered the product with hopes that it would be a fit and it was!!! Looks great and clean too!!
