For the price, these have served me well over the past couple of years. Used mostly to freshen up panel lines on Gunpla where they were too shallow for panel liner to flow nicely, or for the purposes of painting without losing detail. Handles are universal (to a point) and even though the sizes aren’t exactly what those pro builders you see on the YouTube, they get the job done at a fraction of the price. If you can afford name brand, by all means, go for it. However, if you’re trying to pinch those pennies to save for that next kit to add to your backlog *and* pick up a decent set of scribes/chisels, these hit that mark.

I struggled with other tools I’ve used to make the little notches in my panel lines on my gunpla. This set help me to master that skill with a sharp and square edge I was looking for. The price is right and I recommend them for modeling.

While the chisel work fine, my biggest issue with them is how they came out of the box. When I first tried to use them I notice a flaw, the chisel did not come secure in the pen, so any pressure would sent the chisel into the holder. I had to take them apart and assemble them correctly to were they were useable.Not sure if I just got a bad batch but the .4 had a slight angle at the tip that I had to file it.Other then that they work pretty well as a starting kit into scribing

Trade other scribes for modeling these chisels are a game changer for me very good quality and easy to use. Very happy with them great value for the money.

I love these!!!! They make cleaning prints so much easier in hard to get areas. They are great for when you join pieces of a model together and need to carve in lines to hide seams. They are EXCELLENT!!!

I knew for the price they weren't going to be top of the line but I was hoping they weren't damaged as well. The .2 was bent and the .4 was broken off. Kind of a disappointment.
