These have great potential but were poorly created with cheapest possible parts. They only work in the water for about 3-4 days, if you keep them out of the water they work much longer (but they are advertised as water resistant/floating). The only reason I am giving two stars is because if you take off the top solar panel part you can use what remains as a tea light candle holder.

I bought 10 of these water lilies. One arrived not working and I overlooked it. Within one month none were working. Trust me and just say NO!

this solar lilly is large and beautiful. great addition to the pond during the day and pretty at night. I am ordering another for the larger pond that's in the process of going in. The Koi love it as they spend lots of time underneath it as a fish hide. plus the size helps with surface coverage to control algae. I will say that it gets a bit of moisture under the cap which is not water tight or sealed for lots of water inside but the light "fixture" does stay above the water atop the lilly. I do open it from time to time and dry it up then put it back on. no big deal. Also the light doesn't stay perfectly straight atop the lilly pad portion but i still feel its worth it for the adding beauty
