This slave clutch cylinder has a protective boot that protects where my old one seemed to have failed. Both are Ford Motorcraft and the first one lasted me well over 160,000.

New slave cylinder is more expensive than after market products but is a perfect fit. When I get the motor rebuilt I am hoping that it works without any problems.
