Cheap aftermarket part. It did not have the steel core with rubber, it was balled up in a generic clear bag, a plain white sticker with the part number on it. Very similar to the felpro/aftermarket floppy gaskets that damage valve covers.The OEM Ford gasket has a solid metal core and is reusable. Amazon wouldn't let me print a return label so I ended up eating it. I will be purchasing from a dealership to ensure I get the right parts.

These are hands-down the absolute best quality valve cover gasket you can buy for the Ford 2.3/2.5 Lima OHC engines.You can also reuse these gaskets unlike other flimsy silicone gaskets like Felpro makes.Plus these have a steel core to make installation easy.

Used this on my 88 tbird engine, works great! No leaks and cant over tighten because its rubber AND metal
