This is, of course, for the Ford Perimeter Plus Security module (KN1Z-19A361-A) available from Ford. I installed this in my 2019 Ford Ranger Lariat by drilling a small 5/16 hole in the panel where the headlight switches are located, there's plenty of space in there for the LED; it did require using some hot glue inside the switch panel to ensure a snug fit (the LED housing is slightly smaller than 5/16). Routed the wires along other wiring harnesses to the module which I tucked into the kick panel to the left of the brake pedal. It provides a blinking indicator when armed that a security system is activated...which is always good to have!

LED bulb didn't work couldn't wait to return and buy a new one. Replaced the bulb and installed. Overpriced

This is a plug in accessory LED light for the Ford Perimeter Plus alarm system. The light plugs in to the alarm module easily and functions fine. The light is not as bright as I would've expected. It can be hard to tell that it's on in the daylight while looking in from the outside, so I wish the light was brighter. I think it's incredibly overpriced for what it is (a single led, connected to a plastic harness via two thin wires). This probably doesn't cost FoMoCo more than $1 to produce, but you need it if you want the visual display functionality of the alarm system.
