Used the part number from the old one. The 'prongs' did not align with the notches in the lens. Cut the two short tabs off. Hope it holds until I find a correct fit. Gave it two stars instead of one as I changed the lens also, but I don't think it was the problem as the other two bulbs and the old one worked in it. Only mention the new lens so as to be sure I am as fair as I know how.

This the second time replacing drivers side brake/tail-light bulb socket in 15 yrs. The poor Ford design of the bulb socket in the rear light housing caused the bulb to burn through the reflector and partially melt the bulb socket. Cleaned reflector lens and housing, replaced socket and new bulb, now everything working fine. Exact fit for 2008 Ford Edge SEL Fair price and fast shipping.

Fit perfectly on 2011 expedition brake/taillight. 5 minute install, genuine ford part to replace genuine loose contact socket that kept burning up bulbs once a month

works well , crosses over to different part number as other comments stated. Arrived in a couple of days. Less costly than auto stores.

Exactly like the one it was replacing and an easy installation in my 2010 Edge. Two screws to remove the lens and a twist to remove and replace this. DIY savings easily $100.

Works just fine and the cost was well below average

I bought a set to replace the rear taillight sockets in a 2008 Ford Edge SEL AWD...and they fit perfectly. The side clips that hold the plug to the socket broke off during the replacement, but I just wrapped some electrical tape around the connection and they are solidly in place. No more blown bulbs anymore!
