I boiled motul 600 a few times. The standard brake shield acts like an insulator - not good. Granted, this doesn't magically bring down temperature, it just opens it up.I installed these and Porsche 911 style air deflectors (from Vorshlag). Together this brought my rotor temp down from ~800F to about ~650F.
