My husband loves these! I purchased them for his birthday for his 2008 Ford F-150 FX4. His truck has a 5.4 3valve Triton engine and these are a perfect fit. He had no problem mounting them. When he has the opportunity to raise his hood and show off to other car enthusiasts he is smiling ear to ear. Everyone that has seen them have asked him where he got them. I told him to tell them to check out Amazon for all automotive part/accessory needs. He has had them on for 2+ years now and they still look great!

So called powder coating wore off in transit, poorly packaged screws rattled around and scratched finish. I had high hopes, looked good but didn't work out.

Don’t get me wrong the valve covers are nice however for $500+ I’m not sure if they are worth itThe powder coat is super thin like the thickness of paintMine came with flakes missing around where the VCT solenoid comes up through other than that they are ok I gave 3 stars due to the thickness of powder coat and flakes missing

I'm very happy with these valve covers! After almost 3 years on the truck they are still holding strong. No paint peeling off, no fading paint, and no leaks what so ever. I AM EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE!!

This product gets some hate by cheap people who can't buy something for a car if it doesn't make any hp. This makes the engine bay a place you want to look at. Just beautiful...

Unless your technically challenged this is a fairly easy job. Hardest this was getting the oil dipstick loosened so you can get to one if the valve cover bolts. While I was in there I changed the VCT Solenoids because it was acting pretty wonky. The valve covers came with every thing you need minus the gasket maker, you just need a size smaller than a dime on the front part of block, i used Permatex Ultra Black, other than that thought it was a breeze. Ford wanted $197 just for the drivers side for just a hair over $300 thought this was a great deal and it looks awesome.2009 F150 5.4 L Triton 3V

Love these! They're a little tricky to install, but worth it. The hardest part of the job was breaking the old valve covers loose after removing all bolts. After many hammer swings to the end of a 2' 2x4, they finally broke loose.

These cam covers are amazing quality and fit right the first time. Comes with pre-molded gasket and fasteners. These are lightweight compared to the stock cast ones. Don't hesitate, get a set of these Ford Racing valve covers if you are on the fence about it. You won't be disappointed.

Fit and finish is great. Install was a breeze. Removal of original passenger side valve cover was a PAIN. Not imposible to do it at home but it was a pain in the rear. I recommend changing plugs while you have the valve overs off. Kill two birds. Three if you change coil packs to.

Used on my 2010 Ford F150 4.6L 3V "hot rod" engine and the Cool Factor is through the roof. All the quality you'd expect from a factory part: perfect fitment, flawless finish, and engineered to work at leastas good as stock. The Ford Blue color is just something you have to see - it pops. Aside from the bling, these aren't something you need. It's something you want to show off under the hood. However, some practical tests by reputable engine builders have shown that powder coated parts significantly retain heat. This is good and bad. It reduces under hood temps but may inversely increase temps inside the cylinder head. Since the 3v modular Ford engines have an issue with cam phasers failing due to poor oil quality/volume I would recommend that your engine has a high volume Ford or Melling oil pump and you stay close to a 3,000 mile oil change interval if you use these valve covers.
