Like some other 5th Generation Ford Explorers, my sunroof motor went out. This fixed it. BUT the cause is usually blocked front drain lines so make sure you clean them out to avoid the problem recurring!

Great sunroof motor replacement.Work good for my 2011 explorer Ltd.I buy 2 of this motors one for my sunroof and the other one for my sun shade..Work great for both... thanks

I’ve had this motor in my sunroof for about eight months now and I’ve had no problem with it. It was easy to install (if you know what you are doing) and it works like a charm. Great Sunroof Motor!

the motor works very well and was easy to install! I'm not an auto mechanic, but i looked up videos on how to change out the original one which was water damaged from clogged sunroof drains.super easy to install. took about an hour because of the cabin headliner.doing it myself, and buying this motor saved me about 450$ of service install charges from Ford.it's been installed since I bought it and so far so good!

Worked well for about 5 months, then just stopped working. Contacted seller and they advised the “12 month warranty” was a manufacturer warranty through Ford, and suggested I contact “Ford” but gave no further instructions or number to call. My local Ford dealership laughed at me and said they couldn’t warranty what they didn’t sell me.Disputed it with Amazon and gave them all of the above information, and Amazon refunded me the full purchase price I paid this not-so-honest seller. Thanks be to Amazon for taking care of their faithful!👍

Best customer service one could expect. I needed the motor quickly as my car would fill up with water every time it rained and they were fantastic and sent it out that day. They even responded to my emails quickly! It’s sad but I forgot how nice good customer service is since it’s so rare anymore. The motor arrived well packaged and worked flawlessly. Thank goodness because it wasn’t easy and I heard many horror stories of people installing the motor to find out it was defective and suggested to order it through Ford. However, with Ford you pay drastically more and have to deal with them (ugh!). I highly recommend buying from them if your in the market for a new sunroof motor, and don’t let the shipping dates scare you away because they’ll most likely be as fast as prime if you reach out to them.
