Piece of crap. Don’t buy. Thermometers have column separation and can’t be fixed. Better to buy two cheap thermometers and make one the wet bulb. Disappointed.

Psychrometer is well-made with a stainless steel body. Thermometers are easy to read and the accompanying wet bulb - dry bulb slide rule allows for instant relative humidity readout. This is an excellent piece of equipment, well worth the price. I'm glad I got this for myself.

This was a good replacement instrument for one that we used in our teaching labs, especially for demonstrating the physical meaning of wet bulb temperature. The thermometers are smallish, but the numbers and the high contrast liquid onside make these easy to read.The only drawback was that the liquid in the dry bulb had separated during shipping. It took 30 minutes of alternating between ice baths and hot water from the microwave to get all of the liquid to combine and have both thermometers read identical temperatures.In practice, its been a nice little workhorse.
