I bought this watch april 26 2021, and by august i had i ordered a new charger, changed outlets, tried other watch chargers at stores - the whole 9 yards and my watch still would not charge , just 3 months after i bought it -- so I sent it back because I have a warranty - the watch was only about $25 to mail back to fossil but still, my time and energy to get the watch to cooperate was overkill. The watch was sent back to me about a month later, "fixed". It continued to work for about 6 months, around march 2022 the watch lost all charge and again stopped holding or recognizing a charge. I printed out another return to Fossil form with the receipts and packaged the watch carefully then sent it off. About 2 -3 weeks later I received the watch back, claiming it was fixed. My watch at the time of arrival had 11% battery, GREAT IT WORKED! BUT upon putting it on the charger to get the full battery life, it continued to vibrate and die on me with in 20 minutes. IT WAS RIDICULOUS. I immediately emailed fossil, that was last week may 2022- maybe 10 days ago, I still have not heard back. On top of this I spoke with an Amazon employee to see if they would be able to issue a refund or new watch due to the circumstances and of course, because it has been a year, the answer was no. So now Ive spent time money and energy on something that is CRAP. I recommend going elsewhere for watch wear.

I've owned this watch for a little over a year now. I bought it because I wanted a nice, classic looking watch that I could receive texts and call notifications on while at work (so that I could leave my phone put away but still see if my children's schools were calling). When I first looked at the watch, it was on sale- I waited too long, however, and purchased it at full price. I have small wrists and wanted something that wasn't huge. I did not care for it at first, as it disconnects from my phone if I'm not within 10 feet or so and would not give me call notifications even when connected. After a year, the watch has grown on me and I'm glad I purchased it. I have used this with both an Android phone and an iPhone, and the app works much better with the iPhone. Since switching, I am now able to get call notifications and decline phone calls from my watch and the information sent from the watch to the app seems more accurate. I've received a lot of compliments on the style of the watch. It doesn't scratch super easily, though it WILL scratch.Overall, I love that it has a smaller band and watch face than some smart watches and looks like a classy, traditional watch while still offering the features I wanted. I do use the activity trackers and heart rate monitor and they work fairly well, though they're not as accurate as some other smart watches that are more geared towards fitness.EDITED to add a few more thoughts: as another reviewer noted, the fitness tracking can be frustrating. If you are running and walk for a minute or stop at a corner, it asks if you are done and you keep having to hit "resume". It also mistakes other motions for exercise, like mistaking playing piano for the rowing machine or tapping your hand for bicycling. It also freezes occasionally. The wrist flick motion to reset it doesn't work all the time; neither does the tapping to turn on the light. Battery life is pretty good- I charge the watch about once a week depending on how active I am.
