I use it to empty my 90 gallon cold plunge and it works perfectly!! It takes me no time at all and it gets almost all of it out.

This pump takes it down all the way to about maybe a 16th of an inch of water left. If that much, I love this pump. I accidentally left it running after it finished pumping out a pit, and it ran for about eight hours with no water in it, and still works.. WOW!

Works great. Have drained 3 pools now. Only downside is the pump tips over when drained and the shutoff was stuck in a position that it didn’t stop the pump. Just keep an eye on it as the water gets low. Great value and well built.

There are no picture instructions. You have to scan a QR code and I can't do that. Made everything very difficult.

I initially reviewed this pump as a 2 star because it arrived with a broken handle and I wasn't able to properly test it. Well I've had the new one for a week and have been running it daily in 30-45 minute increments in a flooded garage and it handles wonderfully, even in small amounts of water (down to 1/2 inch or less). I've been very impressed, the only thing that would make it better is if it was automatic as I did overheat it once by accidentally leaving it running when the water got really low. In that case I unplugged it, waited 30 minutes then turned it back on and it ran with no problems.Overall very happy. Fantastic affordable pump for smaller flood-type situations like garages or other rooms.

Excellent product. Was able to drain the water in my backyard after the massive snow accumulation. I dig a hole in the ground and the water melted from the snow accumulated there. I put the pump in and in no time emptied the hole. No infiltration danger for my basement anymore.

Maybe OK for pools, but the description on-line is deceptive. I ordered this because my basement floods during melt-off and heavy rain, usually about 1/2 " over a large area. Product says this will take water levels down to 0.04" and is ideal for puddles, so just what I needed. But only until you read the fine print in the operator's manual do you learn that you should start with 5 1/2 " of water and is not recommended to remove shallow water as the pump will over-heat and fail. Their description misleads one to believe it works in puddles, but you will burn the motor up if you try it. I am returning it without trying it.

Nice simple sump pump. Used it to drain my hot tub and it performed well. Runs quiet as well. Handle broke on first use, but still perfectly usable without.

This little pump is a great hard working pump that is one of few that goes so close to the floor and therefore picks up the most amount of water that I could find on the internet. For indoor use I could not fathom using anything else. Most other pumps had about 1/2”-1” clearance that would leave water at same level on your floors that would have to be removed manually. Nobody needs that.

We get flooded occasionally and after hurricane Milton the basement area flooded a lot, the water continued to seep up into the area for 2+ weeks. My existing pumps (1/4 ,1/3, and 1/2 hp ) were not getting the water out quickly or low enough. All the local stores were sold out of pumps so I decided to get an additional pump from Amazon. The Foting 2450 1/2 hp. was about 1/2 the price of most sump pumps and came the next day with Amazon Prime. I was surprised that it came with 3 adapters for garden hose and 1-1/2 hose. Bonus!, It's not mentioned in the add but it comes with a flapper style check valve that goes inside of the adapters. It pumps like mad through a garden hose so I don't know what's up with the bad review about it not pumping (probably had the check valve installed backwards). I also purchased the Superior Pump 99621 1-1/2 inch Lay-Flat Discharge Hose Kit through Amazon and coupled it to the pump. Now it really flows through that larger hose. Another bonus feature I noticed is that this pump primes itself by releasing some water at the midsection of the pump when it first starts. This is a big time saver compared to a normal sump pump in very shallow water. The claim about it pumping water down to .04 of an inch is true and you'll find your self struggling to lift the pump off the floor when it's on because the suction is strong. The pump is not automatic and it would be impossible to find an automatic that pumps water down so low. What I did on this flood is use WIFI switches to power the pumps and monitored the water level with a WYZE pan cam V3 camera from Amazon. So I used my phone to monitor the flood level with the camera app and used Alexa to turn on/off the pumps. Eventually I figured out the water level rise rate as well as the pump out rate. With this information I programed the WIFI switches when to come on and off. This made life so much easier for the 2 weeks+ of being flooded. I like this pump so much I purchased a second one!
