Had one of these before & lost it. Haven't been able to find them at a local camera retailer so was very happy to purchase online - great product at a great price. Glad that there were multiple in the package in case I lose one again!

Works as it should! Saved money on this off brand, quality is great. Soft fit to the face, is adjustable, the rubber ‘cup’ moves on it’s base to adjust for either eye.

Overall:Let me start by saying this is an outstanding deal and a very useful item. I stumbled across this eye cup while looking aty various lenses for my T2i. I was hoping to find a more comfortable solution for view finder shots that blocked the surrounding glare and kept my face of the LCD. This is just that solution. The eye cup is soft, flexible, fits perfectly and is reversible for individual comfort. It is not too bulky for my specific bag configuration and seems to maintain shape very well. A great item for folks who wear glasses, as many have already indicated, while also comfortable for the contact wearer.Star Dropper:I dropped a star on this item not because of any defect, fallacy or problem, but because once the eye cup is installed, it blocks the LCD sensor on the back of the camera causing the display to remain on continuously (based on time out of course). This may not seem like a big deal to some but for me it's a functional issue. Since I wear glasses, I am already distanced from the LCD while view finding my shot. This is normally not an issue with proper sensor operation because it turns off the display as you block the light sensor giving you a non-distractive view. With the eye cup in place, the display sensor is blocked and therefor never senses your approach and keeps the LCD bright (based on setting) and operational. During common daytime or well-lit shots this is not a huge problem and only promotes a small distraction and glare, but at night it's like you are wearing a sign that says "Look at me, I am shooting a night shot with no flash but you can see me for miles away", plus the glare practically eliminates the view finder benefit because you can't cup your eye while wearing glasses. An obvious solution is to use the cup for day shots when the issue is not a show stopper, then go back to standard configuration for night shots. This will depend on your preference, shoot location and desire to reconfigure. You could dim down the LCD during these dark location shots, but that still requires a constant reconfigure as lighting changes and you still look like a late arrival to a movie using a cell phone display to find your seat...Just my 2 cents on how this item works for me, but in any case this is a great deal from an excellent seller and I would recommend this item to anyone who uses compatible cameras.

this is a good value. It functions great and can be turned around for use with either eye. I've been using it now for some time and find it comfortable. It affords me space to move back from the view finder far enough to see cleary. It blocks glare from the sides into the eye well. Before, I had to move my eye back from the view finder a bit to see clearly and it would allow a glare to come in my eye at times. As a mater of fact I am thinking of buying a couple more to have on hand in case I loose this one. It just clips on the front of the eye piece and I have knocked it off a couple times by accident which probably saved doing damage to the camera so I think it's a good thing that it will come off easily.

While taking photos outside in direct sunlight with sunglasses on I found it very difficult to see the entire viewfinder. I couldn't get close enough to see everything and at times the glare from the sun made it almost impossible to make things out. I purchased this product about a month ago and haven't taken it off ever since. I take about half my pictures outdoors and the rest for indoor sporting events, it doesn't bother me to use this even indoors.I have a with a attached in a , and it all fits in perfectly, if a little snug. However, it isn't tight enough to press against the rubber eyecup, so it doesn't look deformed at all.As for some of the other reviews, I look through the viewfinder like I look through a scope, with my head slightly tilted, so I never have my nose touch my camera body. With sunglasses, this is way better to use than the stock eyepiece. I'm not sure if others were using prescription glasses or not, but it works fine for me. It does look a little odd, especially the first few times, but the amount of value I get from it far exceeds the need to make my camera "less dorky".The only complaint that I have is that it occasionally has fallen off. This is usually becase I'm trying to take my backback off, while having this around my neck and they get tangled up. It's happend 2 times over the course of 30+ different events I've gone to, so it's not been that often. It just pops back on, so it's not a big deal, just make sure you realize it did fall off. The first time it popped off I almost lost it because I didn't realize it came off.
