The SafeRocker SS by Foundations features everything you need for an active, professional daycare environment. Rocker has an extra wide seating surface which provides spacious and comfortable seating for extended periods of rocking and feeding. The ultra-durable microfiber material is removable for easy laundering. Rocker arm rests are ergonomically designed for maximum arm support while feeding. Rocker arm covering has deep pocket for storage of critical items. Rocker base is completely enclosed which protects infants and children from exposure to the glider mechanism. Solid steel base and gliding mechanism swivels, which means it both glides and rotates for maximum flexibility of position. Seat backs and arm pads are tailored to complement rocker design and arm pads snap securely in place with fasteners. Foundations uses only wood certified to having been harvested with safe and responsible forestry practices and all products comply with the PEFC certification seal.

After 6 months of continuous use, the chair is already squeaking every rock and the chair leans down on one side. Almost like my house is undeveloped, which it's not because I'm actually on a concrete slab. I've never owned a glider before and I have no idea how to fix these problems. I love this chair so much because it's wide and allows heavier weights. Plus, my great aunt had 2 doff these forever and I've never seen these kinds of chairs anywhere else. (With the base skirted with wood.) Also, the cushion is super cheap and uncomfortable. So I have to replace that as well.I would definitely recommend anyone to buy this chair, but with more knowledge.

I have a Daycare and I wanted a chair that will be quiet while I’m rocking the babies to sleep and comfortable to me..this is the chair I looked over 10 rocking chairs and gliders and this one is very solid and heavy and sturdy and hopefully I will not have to replace one for years to come!!

I've had two chairs for 6 months in my infant room of my child care center and the bearings are already going out. We are replacing the bearings but I feel like they were expensive enough that we shouldn't have to be fixing anything yet.

Bought for my daycare very thin and hard ! The wood is made great but seat is hard as a rock.

Love the chair - it's my reading (kindle) chair. Just wish the seat pad was a little thicker -Great service from the company. UPS sent the chair back 2x - third was the charm. There was a crack that followed the wood grain in the top part of the back rest and instead of sending it back again I found an unfinished furniture place and the guy glued it and clamped it together for about $37.00. No problems since.
