First off, there is an error in amazon's fitment algorithm. Amazon's internal web site fitment data says that this Does Not fit a 1968 Cadillac, when it actually does. This is an o-ring kit for GM A6 compressors, which were the only ones used from the mid 1960s through the late 1970s, and these were most definitely used on 1968 Cadillacs.I verified this by writing four seasons, who wrote back confirming the part # as being correct for the 67-78 GM A6 compressors.That said, it is a good kit and costs less than another that I bought. Since these A6 compressors are very sturdy, the only thing usually needed to correct a leak is this ring kit. I expect 8-10 years before the compressor will need to be re-sealed.
