This switch works as described. A good replacement for the original corroded metal switch on my 1979 International Scout II.

Fit my 1979 Scout. Just had to reuse the internal star clip that goes over the post to hold the cable ring down. If yours is too rusty or bent, you may want to order one some. Looks like 3mm or 4mm size would do the trick.

Works great on my 1978 International Scout II Terra.UPDATE - This valve failed on me. Opened up and spilled coolant all over. Almost overheated.

It failed immediately. After installing the valve and operating it 4 times the valve failed and leaked profusely. Not very well built.

This is a great heater control valve for the 1960 Willys. It could be more rugged materials, but appears to function fine and I expect to get many years of service from it.
