I was quoted $1,500 by a chain repair shop to replace the A/C Compressor and Drier, as well as recharge the system. After doing my research here, and calling a more local shop to see if I could bring my own parts, my A/C was up and running for $600 out the door. So far, so good. Recommended! One of my biggest Amazon wins yet.

Identical to the original one that it replaced on my aunt's 2003 Pontiac Vibe. I also replaced the A/C compressor at the same time. ( ACDelco 15-20754 GM Original Equipment Air Conditioning Compressor) Air conditioning seems to be working since the parts were replaced. It's quieter than it every was and it is blowing cold air. (38 degrees inside a 70-degree service bay while snowing outside) I'll update this review if I find that the Air Conditioner doesn't work properly on a truly warm day but as this unit is primarily just responsible for keeping moisture out of the refrigerant I suspect that any flaws would not be due to this part!
