Precision ground and hardened. Blocks = 1/4˚, 1/2˚, 1˚, 2˚, 3˚, 4˚, 5˚, 10˚, 15˚, 20˚, 25˚ and 30˚. Supplied in a shop hardened fitted case. Fowler, an American company, manufactures inspection and measurement instruments such as electronic indicators, calipers, bore gages and digital scales. The company founded in 1946, is headquartered in Newton, MA.

First off, if you are a professional, order the $750 Mitutoyo set and don't waste time with this. But if you need something cheap, this is a good value for the money. They are made in Taiwan, and I refuse to buy any tools made in China if at all possible. Unfortunately, since the plastic case they come in is not the best (it tends to come ajar and the triangles arrive jumbled up), both sets arrived with minor defects. Also, feeling the corners, there are a few minor scratches. I was able to repair one set with a polishing stone. However, given the price difference, I still feel it is a good value. I just wish they would seal up the plastic case.
