These appear to be good protection. I ordered the Large/XL based on other reviews but they were too big, so I ordered the small/M. I am 5'10" 180lbs. I am only taking off 1 star because I have not ridden a long ways in them yet.

Very rigid and secure. Not very comfortable, but you can get used to it. Didn't ride with it yet, but if you make it tight enough, it won't slide. Seems to be extremely secure against direct impacts. A must need to any enduro rider.
