Purchased these lightweight, fingerless gloves for a trip of a lifetime to far north Canada. Six days of reeling large pike, and larger lake trout all day long can take a toll on hands. They were perfect. Have used them since of saltwater trips too. They also provide some marginal warmth too, though not a lot. Water does not affect these gloves as they're made to get wet. Washing & drying does not affect the size or integrity of the gloves. They pack easily so are always on hand now for fishing trips whether I use them or not, but if you're in for fast & furious all day fishing, they are perfect. Better to have them, and not need them than to need them and not have them. Great bang for the buck.

Bought these tho use in a cold room where I need dexterity for more and keyboard. The mask issue is that the gloves have started to pill a bit. That's natural for wool so not unexpected.

I bought two pair of these for my 76-year-old husband, who has large hands. He wishes the cuffs were a little looser (they leave ridges in his wrists when he takes the gloves off), but he wears them all the time anyway, both day and night. They're wonderfully warm.

I bought these for my husband. He has very large hands. They fit like a glove. LOL! He's so happy with them as it's difficult for him to find gloves that fit. These are very well-made, soft and warm. Will buy again.

I got these gloves for fishing and they work great. The wool stays warm even when wet and I have full ability to tie and cast and unhook fish, never have to take them off until I'm packing up. But I've also worn them just around and I love the open fingers for texting and doing all those little things you don't really think of that require dexterity or grip, getting the card out of the wallet to pay, clipping on the dog leash.... just random things that I'd try to do with gloves but then end up taking them off.Oh, also I wash them and dry them and have no problem. They came a little bigger then I expected for the size and after the first wash they shrank a little to right about what I'd call a slightly larger then normal medium and after that they have stayed the same even after several washes. They also do not keep the fish smell, they come out of the wash good as new.

These are warm and fit fairly well, though they are a little loose near the middle of the palm. The ends seem to hold well, which is good as I got these to keep my hands warm and still have access to my fingers for shooting my muzzle loader in the cold months.They are most definitely wool and has the scratchiness of wool, so if that bothers you, be warned.

These are so warm and I will continue wearing them... but the "palm" part of the glove is surprisingly bulky.I have large hands with long fingers (octave and a half on a piano) and I wanted a pair of fingerless gloves that didn't leave my hands more uncovered than not. Well, the fingers on these gloves are perfect (which is to say, fingerless, but not too short) but the hand part of the glove (what do you call that part of the glove, anyway?) is a bit large, even for my large hands. Maybe if I had steaks for hands.Anyway, 4 stars for being warm, comfy, and covering most of my fingers. -1 star for having giant palms.
