We had, and still have a similar one that's as old as we've been married. (Just shy of 60 years), and it's among the most used utensils in our kitchen . Started to get worried about the handle loosening up, and decided I needed a spare, so I started shopping and found this one. The serrations are a little coarser, and the blade a smidgen thicker, but otherwise, it's near identical to our ancient one, and does the job as flawlessly as that one. If anything it feels more heavy duty and sturdy.

This is exactly what I wanted. It'a a longer spreader that is quite sturdy. It works well with both thin (mayonnaise, mustard) and thick (natural peanut butter) products.

I have been looking for a new sandwich spreader with a wooden handle for a couple of years. This spreader is perfect! The dimensions are accurate and it feels good in my hand when using it. To say I am delighted with this Fox Run product would be an understatement. I highly recommend it.

The wooden handle is totally bad. It is to thin and the wood has splinters.
