This is small! We laughed when we opened the package. It's like a toy. However, we immediately used it to cut some brownies, which previously I'd found super-awkward with regular-sized spatulas. This one did a great job.High-quality metal flat bit, thick for durability but with a beveled edge so you can cut foods. Great small spatula for smaller dishes and desserts.

This is a great kitchen tool. Decently flexible so it is a great scraper / flipper / scooper

Good for small pans and items. Also good for plating food if you work in a kitchen.Made in Taiwan if that is of interest.

This spatula is small yet sturdy. The metal does not flex and can be used to serve small portions and to turn and stir food while cooking in metal cookware. It is not suitable for non-stick coated cookware as the sturdy metal spatula could damage the non-stick coating. The wooden handle is attractive. Spatula seems to be well-made.

Very sturdy and nothing to melt so is perfect for camping. Very compact but not undersized so is perfect for backpackers who need to conserve space. I use this with a 21cm Primus frying pan for camping. Highly recommended.

It’s a great little flipper, but the handle was still pretty rough. I had to sand it some more to get it smooth.

This is also an excellent spatula. It is more delicate and lends itself well for delicate fishes. It is very pliable which makes it good for fish fried one at a time in a small skillet which can be tricky spacewise. Great tool. I really like it.Also, I often use an appliance called a New Wave oven. It is designed to drain excess fat out of meats by way of a raised grill. But I also use it for baking fish because you don't have to thaw it out before cooking. Since fish like cod or trout are so delicate, I juse metal foil which is disposable. With this tool I am able to turn the fish to cook the underside, without tearing the fish or the foil.

Both our son and we had the small Pampered Chef's spatula and loved the size. Our son's broke, handle came off, and ours did the same thing. I really feel like this was our faults as we put them in the dishwasher.I found this little Fox Run and ordered one.The size of this spatula is ideal for our use. It can get into the cake pan for a small first piece of cake or the brownie pan for that first corner without disturbing the rest of the pans contents. I use a small stainless steel skillet and a small cast iron skillet a lot and this turner is ideal. The slots keep the juices or oil drained away from the item I'm cooking. I find it too small for turning a fried egg or an omelet though. The width of the slotted area is 1.5" and the length to the bend of the metal is 3.25"...total of the stainless steel being 4.25". The wood handle is 3.75" and the part I like about the handle is that it's got brads holding it on to the metal. The brads are flush to the wood, making the whole handle smooth.I always hand wash this turner and have even used tung oil to keep the wood staying nice. Never never leave the handle sitting in water if you want it to last. I find this little spatula indispensable (as my son evidently does too).

See some of the other reviews. This is a "specialty use" spatula in that it is quite narrow. It is useful for brownies and as a quicky small omelet turner. I was looking for just a simple, short handled and broader based spatula. Ok for what it is; relatively inexpensive and appears of good quality so a useful specialty tool in the kitchen utensil arsenal but not really what I was looking for.

I can't speak for the durability of this product, because I returned it.I find it to be too small for flipping a single fried egg. I bought this because I like my eggs from a cast iron pan, and I like over easy. This turner may be ok for cookies, I suppose, or flipping brussels sprouts maybe. But if it's too small for a single egg, it's not useful in my drawer.Too bad, I guess, because it felt pretty solid... It might've been high quality. Maybe.

SOLID, STURDY: Made of stainless steel, nice and thick.. a little flexible but not too floppy. Handle is solid with good flush-ground brass rivets. No wiggle in the handle, washes up easy. I would warn against washing in the dishwasher much, in my experience these kind of wooden handles ultimately pay the price and start to degrade as the clear-coating starts to come off. Hand wash it and it will last a long time.CHEAP: For five bucks, you can't go wrong. I bought this to use with my cast-iron so that I would not be melting my plastic spatulas.. plus, stainless is supposed to be good to use with cast-iron as it helps keep the developing nonstick coating (the seasoning) in good shape. For the price, it is a solid piece of kitchen equipment.SMALL: This thing is tiny,. READ THE MEASUREMENTS ON THE DESCRIPTION, and then get out a desk ruler and see if this will be big enough for you. I bought it primarily to work in my little 11 inch cast-iron skillet.. works great for eggs, somewhat for pancakes if they are small, but tried to use it on my pizza stone as a kind of "mini pizza-peel" and it really is just to small for that. The picture is somewhat misleading as it has nothing to compare for reference. Did I mention it is tiny?WOULD I BUY IT AGAIN? Absolutely, but know that it is small and will fit small needs.
