One free USB 2. 0 or 3. 0 interface is enough for this. The FPS00201 recognizes your fingerprint and logs you in to Windows in one second. Your fingerprints must be "learned" to initial setup. This is where a smart algorithm helps that learns through frequent repetition and accelerates detection. At least 5 different fingers can be taught - either all of you or several people. The sensor surface allows 360° detection. So you don't have to put your finger at a certain angle. This is really suitable for everyday use. Anyone who has learned the function will not want to be without it. The biometric login is already included in Windows 10 and 11 and is called Windows Hello. No software installation is required, everything is prepared in Windows 10. The drivers are also included in Windows or can be automatically loaded via online connection if required. Over time, more software applications will be possible with Windows Hello. If the finder impression sensor is unplugged from the computer, the conventional password input is used. When plugging in again, fingerprint login is immediately active again. No need to set up repeatedly.

Sensore comprato, come altri clienti, per la dichiarata compatibilità con LinuxCon Windows 11 funziona ottimamente, senza problemi e senza necessità di installare manualmente driver appositi.I problemi sono con Linux, più di quanto mi aspettassi.In generale, non è facile trovare lettori di impronta compatibili con Linux. A volte anche i sensori su portatili di marca, dichiarati compatibili con Linux (almeno con Ubuntu), danno problemi.Questo lettore è riconosciuto subito da Linux, provato sia con Fedora, sia con Ubuntu.Per la configurazione finora ho provato, in entrambe le distribuzioni, solo tramite i settings della scrivania gnome.Un problema di cui soffrono anche altri sensori, almeno, nella mia esperienza, con gnome, è che, una volta configurati, è facile che al primo errore di riconoscimento (dito mal poggiato), la configurazione venga cancellata completamente e sia necessaria una nuova configurazione.Questo sensore mi dà qualche ulteriore problema già in configurazione perché, più di altri, a volte la configurazione va in errore e blocca il servizio: per ora non mi è bastato fermare e riavviare il servizio, ho dovuto far ripartire il sistema. Ho approfondito poco, però, e non ho ancora provato a contattare il gruppo che si occupa dei sensori di impronte.Leggo di altri utenti, con problemi analoghi, che hanno fatto anche prove più accurate con scarsi risultati.Aggiornerò in caso di miglioramenti.

De sensor ging al koppot vlak nadat de retourtermijn verstreken was. Dan is een bedrag van net geen 30 euro veel te veel. GARANTIE?

The installation is a breeze, the Plug'n'Play making it very easy. Once I had my fingerprint set up logging in, both to my machine and my password manager, worked faultessly. Unfortunately the scroll wheel was defective which made it not so good as an actual mouse. However, FeinTech support responded to my email within a couple of hours and suggested the device was faulty. Amazon replaced it within a day and the replacement device worked immediately and without the scroll wheel fault.

Acquistati 8 pezzi in azienda, ma ben 3 hanno dimostrato malfunzionamenti. Uno sulla rotella di scroll che non andava e due sul lettore di impronte che anche se visto da Windows 10 non funziona.
