I was excited to give this as a funny gift to a staff person where my father lives, in another state. It arrived there without the propeller and I was stuck because I was only there for a few days and couldn't do a return and re-order in time. The joke was lost without the propeller. Disappointed.

Bought two of these on a tight timeline for a talent show gag. They are shown as a beanie with propeller but neither one has a propeller and is of no use for the gag. SEEMS PRETTY HARD TO MESS UP BUT.......

This is such a fun hat! My only negative point is that is comes with no directions at all, so I had to look the order up on my Amazon account to figure out how to put it together just by looking at the picture. There is some assembly required. Overall, fun purchase, but make sure you put the beads in the right place or the spinner won't spin!

The comedy classic! I have wanted one but my gigantic watermelon head has prevented me from picking up the real disposable party store ones sadly. But enter this guy! I love the giant head accommodation here, much appreciated. Now I obviously do not know what has happened in the past, but if I may venture a guess, the propeller comes *loose* in the bag with the beanie, and you must install yourself, a remarkably simple operation of maybe a minute. One might wonder if perhaps people are getting confused by the beanie not having a pre-installed propeller. There are no directions, that is a fair point. The propeller does waggle around a bit, as it is a very tall plastic piece held by cloth, but what do you want, it's priced appropriately. The colors are brilliant and bright (not the classic combo but good enough), and it's a classic gag.
