Su predicación, sus obras, su forma de ser y de vivir. su sencillez, su misericordia...son una piedra de escándalo para los que están aferrados a los valores del mundo de hoy: dinero, poder, prestigio social...Nunca como hoy, sin embargo, un Papa ha sido tan cercano, entrañable y querido por millones y millones de hombres y mujeres, de jóvenes y de niños de todas la religiones, e incluso de gentes agnósticas.Nos ha gustado mucho la pelicula. Ver al joven Jorge que a los 18 años queda embelesado por la belleza de una joven y que sin embargo decide seguir a la reciente llamada del Señor, es ciertamente gratificante. Felicitaciones y gracias Sr. Docampo y Sr. Grandinetti

This film is so well-done with a contemporary/documentary approach. The story-line is simple, yet profound. The acting is right-on but it is surpassed by some beautiful profound script and cinematography. Hopefully it can be reproduced for Region 1 DVD's so that Westerners can appreciate what these talented Europeans have offered. Kudos to the Actors and Producers!

Magnífica película sobre la trayectoria del papa Francisco, desde su infancia, su etapa de inmersión en las villas bonaerenses, su relación con una periodista española como hilo conductor, los cónclaves que condujeron a su definitiva elección. Muy recomendable para conocer la esencia del padre Jorge. Magnífico trabajo actoral. Inmenso Grandinetti.

I am glad I was able to see this beautiful film in flight from Italy. I hope it will become available tobe viewed in the states. Gorgeously set in Buenos Aires & Rome, I found the cinematography, acting andstory line to be touching and inspiring.

I saw this on trans-Pacific flight and am so sorry that it is not available in US format. This was a wonderful dramatization of the a truly gentle soul. I hope the producers will make this available in non-European format. And please keep the Spanish with English subtitles.

A beautiful film about Pope Francis. I saw it on a transatlantic plane. I hope it will be issued for Region 1 so we can buy it. It is worth viewing again and again. It traces his life from college age to election as Pope in 2013.Dario Grandinetti is an extraordinary actor and his portrayal of Pope Francis is incredible.
