The product is all plastic including a metallic coating on the switch and bezel. This is NOT stainless steel and will stain or discolor when limescale cleaners such as CLR are used.

We needed a square disposal button and this fit the bill. A little pricey but looks great. I recommend it.

Totally made out of plastic for 50.00 and the description implies it is not plastic. Don't buy this.

It is not good quality. Plastic!!! So expensive for a plastic button. That's rediculous! Also, who is going toput a plastic button on a granite counter top. NOT ME! Not anyone. Don't buy this.
