LOVE IT! This is exactly what we have been looking for. I purchased one to see how I liked it and check the quality. I am completely satisfied. Our house is decorated with a motorcycle theme and the diamond plate was the perfect touch we needed to add.It arrived on time and was packaged nicely. The plate came in a sealed bag with the screws in a smaller bag so they didn’t scratch. (I love intelligent packaging!!)It was extremely easy to install. Less than a minute and the old plate was removed and the new plate was up.We will be purchasing more this week for the rest of our house.

I have overhauled my garage storage using Gladiator Garageworks products and I was wanting some wall plates to go on top of the slatwall system to finish off the look. Whilst I would have preferred a less shiny finish than the chrome one on this product that is not a fault of the product. The cover comes with a black surround which I think adds to the look and gives it a more finished appearance than some similar diamond-plate covers that just have a thin bare metal edge. I like the fact that the covers come in a range of styles including decora type ones. My only gripe is that I wish tthis range had a single round plate for 220v outlets which are not that uncommon.The WAF (Wife Acceptance Factor) is also a plus point.

I almost didn't purchase these covers because the photos looked as if the black border were simply painted on, and not too precisely at that.But since they were less than half the price of similar ones (which I purchased before for another space), I decided to give them a try. I was so pleasantly surprised that I had to tell someone.Pay no attention to the photos. These are sturdy, well made covers which sit flush to the wall (unlike the others, which are convex) and have a rubbery border around them. They look VERY cool. The black border makes the diamond plate "pop" from the wall, (again, unlike the others I had) and has a much bigger impact. The diamond plate detail is crisp and clear. They must be pressed metal to raise the detail, but they do not look like cheap "blurry" pressings.Unlike the all diamond plate convex ones, these have no sharp edges or bits where the metal was folded. So no ripping your shirt sleeve if you brush them as you walk past.The size of the plate is standard, in that it is no larger or smaller than most of the plastic ones that most of us have and hate.These plates are perfect for a man cave, garage, boy's room, or anywhere you just want something industrial looking. They are an excellent buy, and very well made. I bought the matching light switch covers, and am going to buy more for another space. At half the price and actually better looking than the comparable plates, I couldn't be more pleased.
