I wish I could give this pruner 10 stars. Comparing this to the fiskars brand I bought at the orange bucket store makes me embarrassed that I even spent the 40 something dollars that I paid for it. I didn't mind paying more for a better made pole pruner if it actually worked, so I took the time to read the reviews and decided on the Fred Marvin quick change 2 pole set. I had to order the middle section pole separately, so I wish they offered the 3 pole set as one. The separate pruning head and saw head are professionally made compared to my fiskars set which is only for light use at best. The saw eats through trees like a beaver, even when extended up in the air. I had no problems with the saw constantly binding like my other pruner. The pruning shear also worked without a hitch. I have no complaints at all. I fell like if you can justify using a pruning pole at least a couple of times every year this is well worth the money. I'm certain this set will last me until the day I die. I use a pruning pole at my deer lease and around the house so I didn't mind paying more for something that will last a lifetime. I hated pruning poles and felt that the saw was virtually useless.....until I tried this bad boy. Night and day difference and I couldn't be more pleased wit my purchase. My neighbors kid works with a tree service company, and he said this is the brand they use but they use the yellow pole for electrical safety. He said they get much use out of them. The quick detach features has a minimal amount of play and for my use I consider it to be far more convenient than carrying an extra pole for individual permanently mounted heads on each pole. I've already used both heads on several trees and consider it to be fantastic. The neighbors kid said they can get a little shaky when you hook 4 poles together for a 24 foot reach, but they us them up to that length.

We’ll worth the money. Low cost pole pruners can be very frustrating to use. This tool is top quality and a pleasure to use.

There may be better pruners out there, but this one is really nice compared to what you get in the big box store. Would buy again.

My Marvin was my favorite tool for a long long time. Bought this one only because the last one was stolen.
