Our Manifesto
Born in the wilderness of the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, raised in New York. We took our first steps over 34 years ago, when we walked into the unknown - a fashion world where outdoor apparel hadn't arrived yet. We were pioneers of a new way of thinking about outdoor fashion, and a new way of designing it.
We made it our mission to bring the very best clothing to the most people. We believed then, as we do now, that the freedom of the outdoors is for everyone. No matter where you come from, or who you are, we all need a place to breathe, a place to be human, a place called Free Country.

Absolutely perfect. Coming from a curvy petite person who always has hard time finding a good fitting jacket. This jacket is warm, cozy , lightweight. Has good amount of stretch to it. Bought the driftwood color which is a great neutral color option. True to size. And the hood stays on your head even in high wind situations which is amazing. Soon be ordering the other color.
