Instructions include pictures which are really handy. Follow the pictures over the Instructions because the instructions don't always use left right correctly. You will need some glue. Comes with great tape measure and okay scissors. Fun project that took some time to do. Oh, put some tape on the end of the strands so they don't frey.

The supplies are top notch and great to work with, but the instructions are confusing. It’s listed as being a kit for a beginner, but there’s no way. Since I AN a beginner and don’t know the names of the types of knots yet, even though there are pictures, recreating what they show is very difficult. I’m intimidated, but hope to be able to make it for my sister because the boho look of the macrame on the owl (which she collects) is adorable!

Absolutely loved doing this project! I had never done macrame before and after doing this, I was able to learn several of the basic macrame knots. The instructions were a bit tricky to follow but the video tutorial provided complemented what I couldn’t get from the instructions. Doing the whole project took me about week but the final design came up pretty nicely despite of being a beginner. Highly recommended!

I've always wanted to try macrame and saw this during Prime Day. Worked on it on and off, but not as easy as I thought. The instructions it comes with are useless, but there is a scan for YouTube. You just have to follow since there is no voice. You also have to measure and cut every piece (i didn't know that)I think that was what made it hard. I'm glad I finish it though. Definitely would try something else!

Ready to toss the whole thing in the trash. I'm a beginner and can't understand the instructions. There should at least be a video.
