After a lot of deliberation and research, I finally opted for Freewell for my iPhone (15 Pro Max) photography. That meant getting this case as it’s needed to attach the various Freewell filters and lenses. So the case itself… excellent. Fits my phone perfectly, looks good, feels well made with quality materials. It also looks great too. Plenty of protection for the iPhone camera, and the Freewell filters clip straight on magnetically with zero fuss. Literally a second to attach or remove. Also the magnets feel strong, so I don’t think they’ll just fall off. The other lenses, telephoto, wide-angle etc screw directly to the case, no need for an adapter. This also means you can use other manufacturers lenses as they use a common thread… apparently. I’ve not tried this yet as I’ve only gone the Freewell route so far. Protection wise, although I’ve not (yet) dropped my phone, I think it will do the job. It isn’t as soft and bouncy as some cases, but it does have a good level of thick protection, without making the phone massive. Also, the buttons feel good, a perfect fit and alignment to the phone buttons and a satisfying level of feedback. So all in all a really nice case.However… my one gripe, and the reason for my 4 stars and not 5, it’s a little bit slippery in my hand. As I said, it’s not as soft and rubbery feeling as some cases, but I find it not as easy to hold in one hand as it slides around a little. That’s ok-ish, until you add the rather heavy lenses, such as the wide-angle one. Then I think it could definitely become an issue if you are not careful. I intend to use my iPhone camera grip when on deliberate photography outings, so it will be fine. But if you do t plan on using a grip I would maybe consider one of the grip tapes, which would kinda spoil the esthetics.Hope that helps. Happy snapping

Honestly I think one of my favorite phone cases even if not used to its full potential. Feels great in my hands and the back has a nice texture that is great.

Die beste hülle die ich je hatte, diese hülle ist so hochwertig, ich habe noch nie ein so angenehmes Tastengefühl gehabt. Freunde von mir überlegen dich die hülle zu holen ohne Aufsätze zu brauchen.

I got this to add filters to my phone, but I am very impressed with the case itself (I've used Mous and ESR recently, it is as good). It is well made, solid, looks like it would offer good protection and the buttons work very well. Adding the Sherpa magnetic filters is a breeze. Great product and easy to recommend.

Freewellのフィルターセットを使用するには必須のケースです。MagSafe対応のマグネットが内蔵されているので、かなり重たいです。MagSafeを使用しない人には、全く意味がありません。カメラ周りもガッチリ保護されていますが、一応Felica関連は使用出来たので大丈夫でした。個人的には、この重さはNGですね。

At first glance, it looks exactly like the case for the iPhone 14 Pro Max. However, there are a few differences.The first, of course, is the color. This one is black whereas the previous model was navy blue. Because my iPhone is in titanium, I am not concerned about hiding color this time. (My iPhone 14 was purple, so the dark blue case broke my heart.)One of the things that is different is that it is a snug fit and the edge (?) is bulkier and does more to protect the screen than the previous model. On the previous model, however, I could easily use a glass protector. I bought a beautiful glass protector with privacy feature, and I can either have that OR the case but not both because the case fits so tightly around the bezels of the screen that the glass won't fit. So I'm stuck. One other issue is that the new button cutout on the side is made exactly like the old model even though the button itself has multiple features and is no longer a toggle. It's the button right above the volume buttons I'm talking about. I don't have my phone in front of me so I can't remember the name of it. Embarrassed. :-)That being said, the Sherpa filters fit perfectly, the selfie stick fits perfectly, and as Freewell promised, so far it's future proof. I like the Freewell system, and I have no other complaints. If you don't use a glass protector, then you could possibly give this a five star review. If I weren't already so invested in the Sherpa system, I would probably return it for a case that would allow me to use my privacy glass protector.
