I have a wine cooler that annoyingly does not have a door open alarm. This product didn't mount well enough to allow me to use it for that.

Why go out and buy a new fridge when this fantastic product can do it all (with customizable settings too)! Will save tons of money from food going bad due to leaving the door indetectably ajar. Great sensitivity - set this to sense even a few millimetres of opened fridge and freezer space.Just 10 mins to set up, including surface prep with 90% alcohol to ensure a good grip. Came with foam mounting strips. I used medium Command picture hanging strips on the main module attached to the fridge frame, in case I needed to adjust placement, but it was perfect. Used the included foam strip for the magnet on the door.Works a charm and SO glad we got it!!

I am using this device as a door alarm, not a fridge alarm. First, the alarm sound is very loud, which is very good. But the thing that makes this device better than others is the buttons in front. Pretty much all other similar products have tiny buttons on the side. Changing the settings often requires a complicated sequence of button slide/push, which is hard to remember and likely requires consulting the manual. This device have all the buttons right in front that are easy to see. To turn it on/off or change the alarm sound you simply push the corresponding button. Could not be simpler. I also like that it uses regular AAA batteries, not some weird button batteries that you can't find anywhere or have to order online. One nitpick I have is that the chime sound is also very loud. This could be a plus or a minus depending on your preference. Since I don't plan to use the chime much it's not really an issue.

I used it in a pavilion kitchen that people rent for the day and always complained about their ice melting in the freezer and it ended up it was melting because when someone would slam one of the doors shut the others would open and they would leave and before you know it the whole freezer would be thawing out.

My kids keep leaving the freezer door open, and I had to find a solution. I looked at high tech solutions, but they all burnt through batteries and were really expensive. Sometimes a low tech solution is the answer. And this did the trick. Works exactly as expected. I use it as a door open alarm (third button) - there are 4 different functions it can do. On this setting it will beep after a certain time (programable from 5sec to 60 sec). We left the default 15 seconds which is fine for the freezer - no reason to stand in front of the freezer for more than 15s. (but you can always set to 60s). After that it gives 2 soft beeps. It keeps getting louder and louder the longer you leave the door open. Highly recommend!

Fast delivery than expected. Safe and well packed. Easy to install and so far work perfectly as what I am using for my fridge. I set a 15-second alarm which reminds me so well to close the fridge door. I know it has more functions for door and windows. Keep one spare for the future use.

we have had problems with someone not shutting the freezer door and coming back and having things starting to melt, this seems to be working, we played with it and had to pull it off once to make sure it was in the right spot, but now we think we got it, it does make noise if you look for not long but thats ok cause it reminds us to shut the door totally

I bought a pair for my Samsung refrigerator because it does not have the door-open alarm. The designer of the 'Door Alarm with Time Delay' did a really good job except for one small thing. The gap between my refrigerator door/drawer and the side of the cabinet is a little more than 1cm. So even when is properly closed the alarm would activate because it is just slightly too far apart. I moved either component closer to each other but it's now hanging a little. It would be perfect if the allowable gap is 1.1cm to 1.2cm.But the main reason for me to subtract one star is the Instruction Manual. The first diagram that meets your eyes is a diagram showing and . However in the following instructions the writer decided to use a different term, and . There is absolutely no reason not to be consistent with the terminology. "I said but now I say but you should be able to figure it out." Instruction writers like this really annoy me.

The best in this price range, great that it uses AAA alkaline batteries they are easy to find. The alarm is very loud and also very easy to install. Great product.

This product is great and very versatile. If you are looking for a fridge alarm with delay that is loud enough to actually notify you look no further. I looked at others and price was ridiculous for just one this two pack is a great value
