- Pull up pre-filter frame
- Remove Pre-Filter from the filter frame
- Place activated carbon filter on the pre-filter
- Reattach filter frame
- Insert assembled filter frame into the unit

This filter is REALLY thin. Also, it was cut crooked, and too small. However, when I let them know that I was unhappy, they refunded my purchase price.
