Replacement element. Unplug the old one, plug this one in. No problem. Works perfect.Disconnect power to the range at fuse box first though.

Excellent bake element. Fitted perfectly. Good quality. Has better stand offs than the original. My oven is Frigidaire Electrolux Model PGLEF385CB2. Note, if your circuit breaker popped, the control board may be damaged. I had to replace a relay on mine. Best price also.

Easy to install and reasonable price. Expect it to last over 20 years like the last one. Although analysis on the old one leads me to believe it was my own neglect in cleaning properly and one footing was a bit hid by this build up, bent, allowing the element to come in close contact with the oven bottom.

Same part number from manufacturer’s replacement parts guide for my Kenmore oven model 790.47859408.My experience was that it was very easy to install without anything but a flashlight and a Phillips screwdriver. Here’s what I did***: Turn off circuit breaker for oven, remove racks, remove two screws in element mounting plate, pull out element through the white insulation in the hole just a few inches until you see the two wires attached to the prongs on the old element, carefully slide off the wire connectors from prongs, remove element, slip on the same wire connectors to prongs on new element and double check they’re securely slid all the way down, slide wires and element ends back in the hole, replace screws through mounting plate attached to new element so it’s flush with the back of the oven, replace racks, turn power back on at the circuit breaker, and your done! Recommend running your oven at 400F for 20 minutes after installation with an exhaust fan on or a window open as there’s some burning smell that is normal for new heating elements when first fired up. Hope this helps anyone who was in the same situation as me.***dont hesitate to call a qualified professional if necessary. This was only my experience and not meant to replace the manufacturer’s installation instructions. Always follow manufacturer’s instructions from your owners manual and wear proper personal safety gear***
