These bad boys can REALLY work up some intense swimming & popping action that'll trigger even the most dormant bass in the water! The quality design work makes them stand out amongst the other hollow & solid topwater frogs in my arsenal. They seem to be extremely durable, judging off the one I fished with the entire afternoon. Hooks still sharp, Colors still bright, and details still vivid. Movement was never compromised, even after taking some EXTREMELY violent hits by some VERY nice smallmouths (as any topwater, specifically frogs tend to trigger).**Other customers have previously commented on their strong scent out of the package, and while they aren't wrong, it's not a tough thing to handle. Soak them submerged in dawn soap and hot water overnight and let them air/fan dry and the situation was mostly handled. I chose to soak them in hot water and a scoop of borax overnight. Dried over the air vents by morning, and hit them with a coat of my favorite scent attractant, then let that dry outdoors in a nice breeze (if you're planning to use one in the future anyway, as I always like a little scent on my top waters).Overall great additions to your topwater arsenal. I see no reason why they won't withstand the strikes & constant slaps on the rocks and brush, and hang around as a heavily used item in my tackle for a very long time!

I don't have many frog lure's but after this I sure will! I took these top water frog lures to one of my favorite fishing spots and I had so much action on the water! After about 3 cats I hooked up to a 3lb bass and to my surprise after I switched it up to a different color I landed a 6lb striper, it just inhaled it! I had to learn how to use as I said this was my first frog top water lures but its so much fun!The movement is so lifelike and the vivid colors make the frogs look so real, the hooks are super sharp and designed to hook up as soon as that fish bites down. The rubber material is durable and still has not yet ripped or torn. I would recommend to any of my fishing buddies and these lures are well worth the price! Thank you!

The first thing I noticed when I opened the plastic box was a very strong chemical smell. I'm pretty sure it was Methyl Ethyl Ketone, MEK - the smell of PVC primer. It was strong enough I put it in the garage.Well anyway I left them in the sun and the rain for a couple of days and washed them and eventually the smell dissipated.Besides that, I like the lures. I fished with one today and unfortunately didn't catch one. I used all of my normal lures and also got skunked so it was just a bad day.They are a good weight and cast easily. They are made so you can drop them on a Lilypad and gently pull them off and they float. The hooks facing upwards allow for them to sled over floating vegetation.

Nice action and look like most other rubber frog lures, but they *STINK* like cheap plastic. I even let them sit in baking soda for a week, and I don't think it's helped at all.Seriously, I (a human with a terrible sense of smell) can smell them from across the room. For finicky fish that depend on their sense of smell to survive, I can't imagine they are going to be fooled once they come near them and smell them.Save yourself the headache and buy some locally that you know don't smell terrible. These Chinese made knock-offs are not for you.Scoring: Due to the smell and what they are used for, the started with ZERO stars because they smell that bad. I gave them 1 star back because they are brightly colored and have good movement. They got another star because they are actually decently made, and they hooks are well-concealed so they wouldn't catch on weeds like some of my other frog lures.

The Lumista Frog Lures are very realistic looking, have a nice appearance and feel about them and their .5oz weight provides a good casting distance. Since the hooks are embedded into the body of the frog, they don't get easily snagged in the weeds or sunken tree branches/roots. We used that to our advantage by tossing the lures onto the shoreline and then giving them enough of a jerk to provide a presentation that makes it look like a frog just hopped into the water and with a little practice of jerking the tip of your fishing pole you can give the frog a realistic looking 'swim', and THAT is what the fish could not resist.We used these for about 2 hours, catching 6 fish in total, the smallest was about 1.5lbs and the largest weighed in at just under 4lbs., not the most productive fishing outing that we've ever had, but these lures did prove that they are effective at catching freshwater bass.These Lumista Frog Lures look great, they feel realistic, they have a natural looking swimming action and at just $3 each, lures well worth the purchase price.
