I have been playing sacred piano arrangements publicly since I was in elementary school. I majored in sacred music in college, played on a sacred music traveling group for 6 years post college, and am currently a church pianist and have been for several years. I have also taught piano…This. is. my. FAVORITE sacred piano arrangement book to date. The arrangements are so refreshingly new and theoretically interesting and pleasing to the ear..I wish I was a better writer to describe how beautiful they are. While using traditional hymns, this arranger somehow made them sound different and prettier than I had heard them before even though I have played the hymns themselves so many times over the years.I especially recommend this book for weddings as it has a few perfect pieces for that setting. We even added a violin to one of the songs and it was amazing!These songs are technically advanced, so be aware of the level of difficulty. These would be quite challenging for an intermediate player.I cannot recommend this book enough and look forward to more from the arranger!

I love all of the songs and no damage done to book. I ordered a used one and it was good as new just as it said!
