I like the low profile but high capability of this bumper. It does not take over the entire front of the truck, but it provides space for a winch, light bar, and D rings, and some protection of the grill with a low bull bar. I already had a light bar behind the lower part of my grill, but the bull bar did not block this. The bumper is exactly the same as the Body Armor Hiline except no logo cut into it. AND, its half the price!Installation was not difficult for a mechanically minded person with the right tools. However, it really helped to watch several installation videos on Youtube. Watching those you find that you don't have to remove the bumper, and you do have to remove a bolt on the hose of the oil cooler to slide it back. The paper instructions that came the box were difficult to read because the colors were not aligned, so the videos were the best help. Even with a winch and light bar installed in the bumper, I was able to lift it all up into place and put on the fasteners. Lift with your legs, not your back.The customer service was phenomenal. The first unit I received had a patchy powder coat job. I started a problem resolution on Amazon which put me into a messaging session with the vendor. They quickly sent me a new one after seeing some pictures I took. Very helpful people. Highly recommend.

I hesitated to buy this because I do not do a lot this type of work and I do not have a lot of mechanics tools. But, my 2017 Tacomas bumper kept giving me problems so I dived in. I received it in a box that was coming apart. Fortunately all the parts were there. Reading the instruction scared me. Cut the bumper, push out the fender flares.(Wait 'til you try to put them back in place!) A near-buy collision center would have nothing to do with installing it. It took me a full day and then part of the next re-assemble the front of the truck. ADVICE: Make sure you have a set of deep metric sockets (at least thru 14mm). I did not, had to stop and buy a set. I used a motorcycle jack (platform) to lift in place. It is heavy (75lbs?). I used a wireless grinder (3") to cut the bumper. Trimming the bumper-to-fit was a huge time consumer. A template would of helped. My Tacoma has a steering fluid cooler. The brackets provided did not work. Tubing connects to the hose and do not allow for a lot of movement. It cannot move to far and has to move up not back towards. Until I figure out how to mount, it is hanging on tie wraps from a horizontal bar behind the grill. Read the instruction many times before you start. Page 1 will refer to figures on page 5 . You will be flipping back and forth, It looks good and will serve the purpose. GOOD LUCK!

The build is decent and appears to be heavy duty. The face is approximately 12 ga. and the rest is 1/4” plate. If you’re looking for a solid winch bumper and don’t care about the finish, you won’t be disappointed.If you are a looking for perfection then your wasting your time.Definitely worth the $.

I love the price for sure. If you’re a picky person, this ain’t for you, very well built, I could pick on a few welds, but it’s so rugged and this came well boxed, but the people who handle it after it’s left building suk. A little scratch here and there from delivery but I ain’t mad cause I will have scratches on it within week. Came with instructions and all proper H/W.Now to see how it installs and fit. Hopefully back with video.

The directions that came with this product were completely unlegible. I tried to contact them through Amazon messaging, just to get a readable copy. I wasn't able to reach anyone. No phone number, website or direct customer service. I'm pretty handy and was going to do it myself, but I needed the directions. Furthermore nowhere in the description, did it state that you had to cut your factory bumper. The product did, however, seem to be very nice and well built. It weighed about eighty pounds. Amazon did state that this was a frequently returned item. I should'nt have purchased this item. I did get a refund and I am going to purchase the DV8, which requires no cutting.

Bumper is exactly what I was looking for, fast delivery looks nice with the exception of no instructions will have to guess on setup.
