Don’t wait on this purchase. Not having a working window is far more inconvenient than replacing this part. Just get it done

Had to get two bolts for the bottom. The old one had studs and top had bolts. Other than that fit was good.

This went in so easy, I was mad at myself that I didn't replace the broken one sooner. I thought it would be hard to replace the window regulators but it only took about 30 minutes. This regulator works great with zero issues, the window go's up and down like new again.

My original window motor/regulator wasn't technically bad, it was a bit slower going down and up vs my driver side, which has a Dorman brand motor/regulator. I got the original removed, which consisted of 6 bolts; 5 for the regulator tracks and 1 for the motor. Remove 1 electrical plug to the motor and loosen 2 bolts for the clamps on the glass. From there wiggle the whole thing around and extract out the large opening in the door. Reverse steps for assembly. They're quite simple to install on trucks like mine (99 Chevy Silverado 1500). Anyway, after installed, it goes down and up just fine. Still not as fast as the driver side but it's ok. I'll hang on to my old one since it was still functional. Of course it was free to review, but the price on this one is pretty attractive vs parts stores. I'm hoping for good longevity out of it and will update if something happens to the motor/regulator while I still have the vehicle.

I checked it and it would work. However, I needed the white plastic pieces for the guide, not the whole unit. Returned without a problem
