I can't believe Chrysler didn't make their OEM side markers like these. The stock ones have one little tiny bulb that lights up an inch of these 6" long lights - it looks bad. THESE lights - are what they should have done from the start - they look AMAZING! They are show stoppers. And they blend in with the metallic gray color perfectly when they're not on. Absolutely beautiful!!! If I was rating these on looks alone - I would give them a 10/5 - above - beyond - everyone should get them. However - I'm rating them on looks AND quality of product and there is ONE small issue with them... The screw holes are TRASH. They're not pre-threaded, and when you screw in the screw- THEY CRACK! There is no instructions on how to handle this issue - but by the 3rd light I figured out how to do it without them cracking - and it's a bit of a pain in the butt. I found if you take a heat gun, and heat up the screw till it's HOT (not like RED hot, but hot enough that you don't want to touch it), then toss a bit of grease in the screw hole - they slide in like butter. You're basically melting the threads into the plastic. Once you do this, you can unscrew them from the side marker, and you'll have threads in your screw holes - so when you place them on the car, you can actually screw them in without cracking the plastic housing. I found it easiest to do this by placing them on the T25 socket heating them up, and then screwing them in... the problem is - if you drop it, you have to wait for it to cool down before picking it up!Over all - these are still a SOLID 5/5 for function and look, and I'm not sold on the fact that any other manufactures would provide anything different on the screw hole situation - even the stock ones don't come pre-threaded. The only fix would be a much thicker wall, or better quality plastic.
