The item come with minor damage. The material is too think and flimsy. It is too easy to be bend, but it is still harder than original plastic.

Like some other reviewers, the skid plate arrived with a bent ‘ear’. Due to its awkward size/shape and the lack of padding in the packaging, it seems almost inevitable that some bends will occur in the shipping process. The most likely place is the two ‘ears’ that stick out (pictures attached). It took about ten seconds to bend it back into shape using only my hands. The closeup images of the ‘ear’ are before/after straightening the bend.I had more difficulty removing the remnants of the old skid plate than installing this one and I’m very satisfied with the product. The addition of the hardware kit is a nice benefit. I only used a couple pieces from the kit, but it was good to have anything I might need instead of needing something I didn’t have.There are nine 10mm bolts and two 15mm nuts holding the skid plate in place. Make sure you have those sockets or wrenches available as they are not included.

It is better than plastic, but the fit is not perfect. You gotta work on it to make it fit and it’s rusted after one winter even after doing Ross roofing.

Three of the four quarters were bent when the product arrived. I simply bent the corner's back and had a perfect fit. Very happy with fit.

The item that arrived is painted steel, it is nit aluminum as described. I'll be returning this unit.

Solid, good quality, good fit. Much better than the crumbling fiberboard skidplate that I replaced with this product, however it should have been packed in foam, because the corners were bent, and some of the bolt holes were slightly off. Nothing that I couldn't fix by bending back to shape or using a drill to adjust a few holes. Satisfied overall.

came in a cardboard box with no padding. the 2 "ears" are completely folded in which left a crease when trying to reshape it. there are also multiple other bends and creases.The cutouts for the bolts are off, we had to file down multiple locations in order to fit it to the car. Very poorly designed.Took more than 2 hours instead of ~20 minutes with a properly designed piece. Would not repurchase.

Took a risk on this because it was significantly cheaper than the other metal skid plate options, but it had no reviews. Thankfully it worked out. Seems to be good quality, and was a perfect fit for my 2020 Model 3 Standard Range.
