Replaced my very broken plastic aero panel. The extra ears at the top provide additional protection for the corners of the battery. Excellent design and build quality.

Good product, just be prepared to re-shape the shield to the correct shape before installing, assuming it arrives damaged.As expected based on others’ reviews, it arrived in a damaged thin cardboard box. The aluminum was folded over on one corner with some warp across the entire shield. I used my damaged Model 3 fiber aero shield as a template to reshape it correctly before installingFYI, you don’t necessarily need ramps or a lift to install this depending on your Model 3’s ground clearance and your physical flexibility. On the ‘18 LR RWD with 18” rims and MXM4 tires, a Harbor Freight furniture dolly is the exact correct height to hold this in place while ratcheting in the bolts. YMMV on what will fit underneath to hold it in place, but the general concept should apply to all models.

Arrived in good condition despite poor packaging. Luckily, it's so thin that even if bent in shipping it's easy enough to straighten out. The first thing I noticed is that all along both edges, the foam that is glued to the metal had separated. I spent a while using epoxy to firmly adhere it - you don't want the noise loose foam flapping against metal when you're at high speed. When installing, I noted that one of the two large holes where you need to use the included nuts over the threated stud was out of alignment. I went slowly and kept all the screws loose, so it's not like I had tightened it down out of center - the hole was a few mm too far to the center of the car. I had to file one side of the hole to get the nut to line up properly.Overall, not terrible, but not great either. Should offer slightly more protection than the factory plastic material. I've noticed slightly more noise at speed than before - likely a result of the "ventilation" slots that are included for absolutely no purpose. I'll probably cover those with some high speed tape.

Overall good construction. My foam was almost secured but a few places in the middle it wasn't. But for sure the foam is glued down. I'd rather have this style than the 2 piece one others sell, less things to break.

The product was damaged in shipping. Perhaps shipping container could be improved and perhaps the shipper(UPS) changed. Fortunately, the soft aluminum could easily be bent back to shape. Otherwise satisfied with the product.

The material is much more sturdy, not that plastic OEM .This material is some type of metal, but it's not heavy.Well worth the money for peace and mind.
